Sound design in the form of foley and minimalist score based on sounds that might be heard in the scene itself are used to develop tension and a sense of foreboding. My intent here is to sharply transition from this building dread to a scene that leaves the character and the viewer thinking about what they just saw or imagine the character saw.

In this excerpt, foley sound is used to aid the narrative in the scene and to accent a particular storytelling method. The central sound here follows the movement of the camera to imply that the object exists within the reality of the film.

This excerpt uses a creative arrangement of "Mother" accentuated with additional sound effects in the sound design to show two perspectives coming into contact and blending into a new shared space.
the sound of creation
Still images and experimental sound design are blended to create the feel of a dark and surreal sci-fi narrative. The intent here is to not directly convey the meaning or story. I want to imply, with sound and image, a narrative while embedding the mood and feeling of the story in the viewer.
